TOMITEMP (L'Aintr)
It was 2014 when I saw accidentally a cover of Civil War by Guns N'Roses and I noticed that there were more musicians: it was a "collab". I was excited for this new thing so I asked to some people in internet but nobody answered. So I tried directly to ask him and he accepted. We agreed by email of what play. We chosed So far away by Avenged Sevenfold.
That was one of my best ever collab and the first. Then we did other two covers: 14 years and Used to love her, both by Guns (our favourite band).
I think he's a great singer, he has the strenght and weakness to be similar to Axl Rose in voice (he told me to has been rejected by the voice for this), but I'd like to have his vocal range, it's awesome!
MARTINA
If you have read my bio you remember her. About december 2014 she was no more in the band, but she didn't reject my proposal about two covers.
W went in room and recorded her voice in two songs: Prayer in C (very popular at that time) and What I Am by Edie Brickell). The music was ready, I needed only that hard solo with wha.
Here the best cover.
She is maybe the best singer with which I collaborated, technically very prepared and understand what I say. She can reach important stages.

Il Vichingo
and Accordion 26
At december 2016 I received a message from a guy (Il Vichingo) that wanted to do a collab. He was at the beginning and that was his first collaboration. He made many covers of pop songs, so we chosed We don't talk anymore.
He made bass, drums and voice, me guitar and keys. It was my first complete cover in every instrument (I ever used vst plugin for drums).
Then in february 2017 contacted me Accordion 26, piano and accordion player, but also a singer. I was planning to do another cover with Il Vichingo so I tried to combine two projects in one only. We played "Terra Promessa" by Eros Ramazzotti, and we had 2 singers.
In 2018 me and Il Vichingo made also another cover: Liquido - Narcotic. I think this is the best one in audio quality. Over time we both improved much in audio quality, this cause the experience teach better of every other thing. Here I want to share just this last one cover.
I also have to tell you that we started to work to an album of original songs. You can already find some our songs released on youtube.

JACOB BAPTISTA
Long time ago I discovered that on youtube were acapella tracks of some famous songs, one of them was Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots. So I thought to rearrange it. The only thing I needed was drum track. So I searched for someone who had the isolated track. I asked many drummers but nobody answered, until I decided to ask the first one I found and of which I already started to use his drum track as baseline to record. He accepted. He had already recorded on his own and not for a collab, but this wasn't a problem.
But look what a show!
Little curiosity: I also asked a german girl singer to join but after had accepted at first, then never heard from here again.
Layla Mit
Before the summer of 2017 I recorded the instrumental of Another day in paradise by Phil Collins, with the goal of sing on it and make a complete cover. But I didn't consider the limit of my vocal range: I went in room to record and I couldn't sing it. After many attempts I understood that wasn't for me, I had to find a real singer. So I asked Martina, who accepted first but after she said me to had not time to do it and advised me to find somebody else.
I search as good talent scout, filtering video cover of Phil Collins, to have a possible sure answer. But I didn't received response.
Until august, desperated, I filtered for "recent" (last week) and found this girl very cute and funny, who made cover that I didn't know but I liked her voice and sing style. So I commented, without many expectations.
And instead, to my great surprise, she answered me asking all details about projects in a privet message.
We agreed then by email (she's from Bristol, so I stood up to a native language).
I remember that when I received her isolated vocal tracks I was amazed, happy and I immediately work on the project to listen how it will come out.
After many days of working to achieve the maniacal perfection of mix, I sent her the mp3 and she liked it so much.
Lastly I explained to her how she will have to do the playback and I realized my parts. Also for the video I spent whole days to make it.
I'm really glad about the final result and to date I think it's one of my best cover realized.
She has a voice very flexible, suitable for different genres. Her only fault, in my opinion, is to not believe so much, cause she do very few cover, once in a while, but she has talent.
Mindless Vocalists
With Mindless Vocalists I realized the first real rock cover, powerful, playing Burn it down by Linkin Park.
I already recorded in my own the instrumental: I wanted to cover some by Linkin and I chosed the most feasible and most electronic, to finally use my new synth.
As always I searched for a singer for a long time. I filtered channels with not many subscribers, under 1000, cause the others don't even answer. Lastly Ilanded on his cover of A place for my head. I noticed that he could sing and rap, and he had a good instrumentation.
As usual we agreed by email, then I received his tracks, that didn't need editing so much (I really appreciated it). The chorus was not so powerful, so I had an idea: I asked him to record other 2 tracks, one with a melodic chorus and another one with an aggressive chorus. The result was awesome.
It was a pleasure work with him, professionalism and quality, one of my best covers about quality arrangement.
Little know fact: the drum track is by Coop3rdrumm3r.
I found a video of his isolated track. I also asked but he's too famous to answer. Usually isolated track are done just for this kind of project, so doesn't matter.
He'll probably never know about this cover "forced".
Ilaemi
The longest collaboration but with the best ever video.
I had some instrumental ready and I found that girl. I proposed her to collab in one of these, but she didn't like those songs. She instead propose me to cover Wonderwall. I didn't even think about a so beautiful song and I also had already learned it for an unfinished live project, then it seemed a sign of destiny.
I was so excited that I took a risk: I immediately recorded in original key, without asking her about it. Fortunately was ok for her.
It took so long not so much for the mix as for the video. We decided to make it outside, in the wild. I ever had problems about film in outside (nobody helps me).
Finally I've done it and was october. She had already filmed her scenes but later she didn't find videos anymore, so they had to redone all. We could regain about only 30 seconds of old takes, and was a pity cause those videos were so bright and colorful. I kept them in the final video anyway. So all was redone in december (2017), and that's the reason why trees are less green.
Then editing took it's time. It was maybe the first time I chose to not divide shot in more mini shots.
From this collab I met a new talent. Now we keep in touch and I help her to produce her inedits song.
Smilin
Here a collab for my original song. In few words I've been looking for a dancer for a long time, who will create a choreography for my inedit song ("let's dance").
The annoying thing was that I founded also 2 girls who first accepted my collab but then I haven't heard from them. I had the song ready in 2016. The research lasted a year. In march 2018 I stumbled in a swing dance video, something I never saw, and I discover that it was exactly what I needed.
The project was so cool, she is awesome, she answered me immediately and made herself available to follow my detailed indications (favourite dance moves, minutes ecc.). After the first video I wasn't so much satisfied, I thought it could be more than that (as when you play a solo the first time). So I asked her to do another video for the entire duration of the song, also improvising. I was right. The second video was better.
Then I selected the best parts from her videos and I chosed to leave room for her, cause she's more cute and good than me.
I'm really happy for the final result and from that experience I learned to wait: I had to wait so long before find her.
Now we keep in touch... She's becoming famous.
COLLABORATIONS WITHOUT KNOWING
Then there are some collabs that I discovered later cause they derived from the instrumental tracks I made available on the web. Some of them are sung by very good singers.
The most used instrumental track was "Jolene" by The White Stripes. Here the interpretations of Jennifer Diehl, from UK, now leader of Fire Red Empress, and of Tomitemp (L'Aintr).

Another very used track was the karaoke of "#Fuori c'è il sole" by Lorenzo Fragola. My video lyrics on youtube was one of the most seen. It has also been used for a spot on local tv.
Many singers who have cover it are not so good, so professional, for this reason there wasn't anybody who surprised me so much to pubblish here the video (the audio quality above all is poor)
