My story, from the band to today
BIOGRAPHY
The start as musician and the VSS band
I don't know say exactly when I started to play.
Some photos portray me when I was 3 playing random keys of old piano, the same I'll recover more later. In real my first instrument that I seriously try to learn was guitar. At the age of 8 (2003) I signed up to a beginner's course, I went once a week. The hardest thing was be able to cover all strings, indeed I had little hand at that time and I couldn't press the 6th string. From that course I don't remember anything, I only have some sheets yet and now I notice that what the teacher gave me to learn weren't chords, but single notes. After one year I stopped completely.
In the following years I started to write song. My first one, written in 2004, was dedicated to a girl in my class. Since I couldn't play, I didn't have a music for my song but I sing only melody. I wrote many songs, the lyrics were a little embarassing obviously but not all was to delete: indeed this year, after 15 years, I arrange my first one finding the right chords and it's not so bad.
After between 2007 and 2008 I saw accidentally on mtv a concert of Michael Jackson (probably in Monaco or Bucarest in 1992). Until that moment I only heard about him, about his process, so I didn't have a good opinion about him, but I liked the moonwalk. So when I saw him done it in billie jean I said "He's a monster". I was surprised and started to search for videos of his songs... finally without notice it I became a fan. Of course I wanted to learn that dance move and after some tutorials I learned the moonwalk. I remember that when I learned it I thought to be one of the few to be able to do it (now I know that be able to do moonwalk is like be able to play poker).
Then I wanted to learn also his songs. So I pick up that piano that I wasn't never be able to play it and try something: I didn't know chords but I learned to play melodies. And that was the beginning.
I started to play with two hands but I did half chords, not just completed, also because I didn't want to learn from a teacher, I ever wanted do all in my own. When I learned a song I recorded with my mp3 player the result ( I still have all the recordings in my hard disk). Another thing is that I used to film me dancing in Michael Jackson style (some video is in a dvd I've hidden well).

And was 2009. Music culture influenced by MJ, personal technique, one piano: with this I went to form a band. In the summer of that year I was going to my friend to give him a lyrics I wrote (one of many dedicated to that classmate girl) and I already talked about my idea of form a band. We ere 3 childhood friends, I want to do something that will give us a special relationship.
I thought about it when I was learning to play and he liked sing, so we tried some cover of MJ (I knew only his songs). Then we decided for the band and after we named VSS (VersuS le Sfide).
I don't want to go on with the story cause I wrote all about it some years ago, when we still play in the band and after the dissolution. There is all I remember, in great detail, with my personal opinion to the facts we lived.
After VSS
Finished the adventure with VSS, we should have find a new singer, better if female. So me and bassist (Simon) had the same idea: asking to his friend Martina.
She joined the band and I think that moment was our best ever: we were 4, the essential, all at a good level, in harmony. The thing most surprised me was when I asked her to sing an our song she never heard before: I told her to follow the bass notes and she sang it perfectly right, so I recognised to have working with a pro finally.
We played few times, then Martina and Simon litigated and she left the band.

So in 2013 we needed a singer again.
Some time before we watched an essay of Simon and Martina. Among the participants on the stage I noticed 2 female singers that sang as a pair, very beautiful girls and maybe also good at singing (the attention was a little down that day in that situation).
I thought it will be our springboard cause they will have increase the image of the band.
It was an epic fail. We played together 2 times, they sang for fun, without knowing nothing about music theory, and there wasn't harmony. That line-up ended, again.
During that time, the name of band was our last thought, but at a certain point we named us "call and meet". Another thing is that in that period I composed an inedit music idea for the band, then the band ended and I kept it for me... more later it became "Let's dance".

Come back to the chronicle, it was about 2014, the year in which I decided to lead seriously my channel, opened in 2010 to upload vss' songs. So I started to make tutorial, and the rest is history.
By the way, I started to play at church and there was a guitarist just arrived, Andrea. One day I asked him if he sang and when he told me yes I asked to join in the band. We had a new singer.
The bassist (Simon) was not much present so we played less than once a week together. I thought a name: last chance. The reason: if also that attemp was gone I will stop to form a band.
Immediately the line-up changed: Andrea invited a friend of him, Mattia, as guitarist; Simon, after discussing with the new guy, left the band; I asked Martina to rejoin the band and she accepted.
Was genuary 2015 when the new line-up born. Usually some cover at the beginning. We played well together, once week at least, but we were 3 guitarists. So we borrow a bass and we played it alternatively. I'd like to chose the name of band on the basis of this peculiarity, "the swingers"...
"Why" - "Cause we swap instruments as swingers swap partners, and instruments are like partners for us" (it was perfect).
We didn't think too much about name and left "last chance"... it will be profhetic.
We were composing also an original song, lyrics and music was almost completed, but... there were some problems. One day we met to discuss about artistic and character divergences. One of us in particular, Mattia, didn't come to rehearsals, telling us at the last moment. After that meeting it seams we were in peace, but some days later Martina told us that she didn't bear that situation anymore and she didn't like our genre. So she left. Mattia had already found another band while he was playing with us. Then me, Bayron and Andrea chosed to end (february 2016).

From 2016 to 2018 I carried on my solo career. In february 2016, 29, I released "The Technology", my most famous song. In may I released my first instrumental album, Medieval Walker, that collects all my tracks composed since I started to play until that moment. Then I restarted with lyrics songs. In december I released "Take a breath", after all the others. That inedit we were composing with Last chance born from an idea of mine and lyrics by Martina. I regain what was mine and I composed "Tempo e Denaro", released in 2017. My last single was in june 2019, "sempre in quel posto".
From 2018, after listening him singing my song "A due passi", it started a collab with Il Vichingo for an album completly of orignal songs. It will probably be released in 2020, we made an half of it.

Unexpectedly in december 2018 I resumed with a band: two new members, Andrea and me, in a band called SINAD.
In march 2019 finally we played at a concert, our first live, in which we played covers only. It was an awesome experience. After we went ahead expanding our repertoire and we almost made an inedit. Suddenly the general humor declined and now we don't meet for four months.

In the meantime I never abandoned my solo career, cause I know how long a band can stand. In may 2019 I released my second instrumental album, My Second Life, with Rehegoo Music as label, and it's a concept album with double meaning in front cover and in the tracklist.
I almost finished my third album, completely electronic, that I hope to pubblish in october 2019. Sure, a band is a great thing, it's cool just tell people, you can share fear, anxiety, emotions... all (also money if that's ok). But it's difficult to find right people. Instead alone you can manage yourself, with your time, agreed with yourself, so musically it's a perfect situation. The negative point is when you'll be on stage, but at the moment there's no risk.
This year I also closed my yt channel for poor results. I did every kind of video with the goal of make many views to find more fan. This strategy worked for only 20%. This attemp has wasted my free time anyway and also for this reason recording my original songs took so long.
Now the channel remains a place in which share inedits and cover. And if next month will be out my third album, this means that I've done 2 albums in one only yeas, so I had right.
